Existing partnerships
We currently participate in the following joint ventures:

Bahri Dry Bulk
o   In 2012, we entered into this joint venture with Bahri, one of the world’s largest shipping companies operating currently around 90 vessels
o   Since 2013, our joint venture Bahri Dry Bulk (BDB) has successfully been operating five bulk vessels, the most modern in the Panamax class, each with a capacity of 85,000 dead weight tonnage.

Middle East Feed Solutions Company (MEFSCO)
o   In 2013 we partnered with Cargill to produce and market food ingredients.
o   Cargill is a global provider of food and agricultural, financial and industrial products and services, with 150,000 employees in 70 countries who are committed to feeding the world in a responsible way, reducing environmental impact and improving communities.

IDAC Merieux
o   In 2014 we entered into this joint venture with Merieux, a global network of 100 laboratories in 21 countries, employing over 6,500 people.
o   Merieux has 50 years’ experience in food science and is among the world’s top three players.

Partnership opportunities
We are working to augment our already robust agri-commodities supply chain. Doing so will be fundamental to our positioning as a food security company for the Middle East in general and Saudi Arabia in particular.
